Definition
Frequent urination means needing to urinate more often than usual. Urgent urination is a sudden, compelling urge to urinate, along with discomfort in your bladder.

Urgency. This means that you get a sudden urgent desire to pass urine. You are not able to put off going to the toilet.
Frequency. This means going to the toilet often - more than seven times a day.

Urgency. The feeling that you need to go right now! Urgency is normal if you haven't been near a bathroom for a few hours or if you have been drinking a lot of fluids.

Urgency is a term used by health care staff to mean having very little warning of the need to either pass urine (urgency of micturition) or have your bowels open (urgency of defaecation). It means having to go to the toilet straight away.

Urinary symptoms (urgency or frequency)
For many women with ovarian cancer, these symptoms occur often and are different from what is normal for their bodies.

Diarrhea or rectal urgency. Some people may have diarrhea 10 to 20 times a day. The urge to go to the bathroom may wake you up at night.
Rectal bleeding. Ulcerative colitis usually causes bloody diarrhea and mucus.

People with Brainerd diarrhea typically have 10-20 episodes per day of explosive, watery nonbloody diarrhea with urgency and, often, fecal incontinence. Accompanying symptoms include gas, mild abdominal cramping, and fatigue.

Common ovarian cancer symptoms include urinary urgency and frequency, abdominal swelling, bloating or pressure and a mild to moderate discomfort in the pelvic area or any pain in the pelvic area.

If there is no great urgency about the case this treatment may well be tried, the bladder being all the while duly emptied by catheter and washed by irrigation.

In patients with mild to moderate inflammation, symptoms can include rectal bleeding, diarrhea, mild abdominal cramping, stool urgency, and tenesmus (discomfort and the feeling that you have not completely emptied your rectum after a bowel movement).
