Uveitis
Definition
Uveitis is an inflammation of the uveal tract, which lines the inside of the eye behind the cornea. Much of the uvea lies between the retina and tough, outer sclera.

Chronic uveitis is a perplexing complication of JRA which occurs most commonly in young girls with oligoarthritis and ANA seropositivity. Around 1/4 of patients with oligoarthritis develop uveitis.

These types of glaucomas are sometimes associated with eye surgery or advanced cataracts, eye injuries, certain eye tumours, or uveitis (eye inflammation).

There are very few people who have no adverse effects after iridotomy. Glare, double vision, uveitis and high IOP are very frequent side - effects. Normally visual acuity drops dramatically.
