Vaginismus is when the muscles around your vagina tighten involuntarily whenever there is an attempt to penetrate it with something. This could be your partner's penis, your finger or a tampon.
Vaginismus is painful, reflex muscle spasm of the vagina and leg muscles, which occurs when sexual intercourse is tried or anticipated.

Vaginismus Recurrent premature contraction of the musculature of the vagina before or at the acceptive phase of an erotosexual episode, so that it is too tight and too dry to receive the penis.
