The Australian Dingo (a feral, rather than wild, species) hybridises freely with domestic dogs. This is now so widespread that many dingoes are now mongrels.

The New Guinea Singing Dog (Canis lupus hallstromi), known as NGSD, New Guinea Highland Dog, or Singer, is a type of wild dog that is native to New Guinea, classified as a subspecies of Canis lupus and related to the Australian Dingo.

The Carolina Dog very closely resembles the Asian Jindo and the Australian Dingo, which may suggest common ancestry. Dr. I. Lehr Brisbin, Jr. first discovered the Carolina Dog near a swampland in the southeastern state of Georgia.

The Australian Cattle Dog primarily derived from a mix of smooth, blue speckled Collie imports from Scotland and wild Australian Dingoes. Australian Kelpie, Dalmatian, and Bull Terrier were also added.

Carolina Dogs also have a ginger-colored coat that is found on other wild dogs, including Australian Dingoes and Korea's native dog, the Jindo.[3] Experts have said that Carolina Dogs are seemingly indistinguishable from the Jindo.

Many think the Australian Kelpie is typically a cross between the Australian Dingo and the Border Collie, but documentation reveals the breed truly developed from English North nation Collies of the Rutherford strain.

Considered to be the "missing link" between the Basenji and the Australian Dingo, the Telomian is similar to the Basenji in appearance and temperament.

The Australian Cattle Dog is primarily derived from the smooth, blue speckled Collie and wild Australian Dingoes. Breeds like the Australian Kelpie, the Bull Terrier, and the Dalmatian were also added to the mix.

The Australian Cattle Dog was developed in America in the 1800s to be used for herding cattle on large ranches. It is a cross mainly between Australian Dingoes and Collies from Scotland. It has excellent herding and guarding instincts.

It is mixed with a smooth blue-speckled Collie from Scotland, wild Australian Dingoes, Australian Kelpie, Dalmatian, and Bull Terrier. After the crossbreed, it produced a very good herding dog.

It originated in Australia where Thomas Hall bred a Highland Collie (Welsh Heeler) with the native Australian dingo. His cross produced the cattle dog that so many others before him had tried to invent.

harsh conditions in the rough tracts and manage the cattle without getting too rowdy or rough with the cows led to a long period of breed experimentation, beginning with a man named Timmins who crossed the Smithfield with the native Australian Dingo.
