The Border Terrier is fearless, lively, affectionate, good-tempered and obedient. He's active without constantly demanding your attention. He can be laid back in the house, then wonderfully energetic outside.

The Border Terrier has a low coat and smooth and an external coat lasts and hairy. The colors include grayish and cinnamon, blue and cinnamon (sometimes almost black), red grayish, and, less commonly brown.
