The Carpathian Sheepdog originated in Romania. They are a naturally talented flock guard breed that has been utilized for centuries by the Romanian shepherds.
Also known as a Carpathian Sheepdog, the Rumanian Waterdog is primarily a flock guard. The muscular, heavy boned breed weighs 70 to 100 pounds and stands 24 to 27 inches tall. The all white Rumanian Waterdog is very free spirited while also energetic.
