The Cesky Terrier is a loyal, happy, patient and yet feisty dog who loves his family and want to protect them.
The Cesky Terrier, also called the Bohemian Terrier, is a short-legged, moderately long, terrier. It looks similar to a Sealyham Terrier. The Cesky Terrier has a long head, bushy beard, mustache, and eyebrows. The body is solid, but not heavy.
The Cesky Terrier is the result of the efforts of a Czechoslovakian breeder named Frantisek Horak. The breed is comparatively new, and was given official recognition by the FCI in 1963.
The Cesky Terrier is a member of the terrier group. They were originally used for hunting for foxes and badgers. Today, whilst still used for hunting, they are good companions and seen in the show ring.
