The hybrid or designer breed is the result of mixing a Chihuahua with a Papillon. Because of the popularity of multi-generation breeding, it is not always guaranteed that the Chion will be of 50/50 bloodlines.

Chions are average shedders. Regular vacuuming of the carpet and furniture is essential.
Housing Your Dog
Chions are indoor dogs. Some bark excessively, so they may not be the best choice if you live in an apartment.
