Origin
The Eurasier is a comparatively new breed which was developed in Germany in the 1960s by Julius Wipfel who desired to create the ideal family dog.

The breed originated during the 1960s in Germany where the cross-breeding of the three different types of dog, the Chow-Chow, Wolfspitz, and Samoyed, were brought together to create a great characterized breed.

Eurasiers are calm, even-tempered dogs. They are watchful and alert, yet reserved towards strangers without being timid or aggressive. Eurasiers form a strong link to their families and are fond of children.

The Eurasier is a calm, mild-mannered dog that is an excellent companion. They are alert, watchful, and devoted to their family. While they have a propensity to be reserved in the presence of strangers, the Eurasier is never timid or aggressive.
