Other names for this breed would be Golden Labrador, Glab, and Retrievador. They have a longevity of 10-14 years and are obviously not one of the small dogs in the market but are really large because of their “ancestors.

Yellow Labradors are often mistakenly called "golden Labradors." The term yellow refers to a range of color from nearly white to gold to fox-red. The Golden Retriever is a separate breed from the Labrador, although there are similarities.

Golden Retrievers are often referred to as Gold Retriever and Golden Labrador Retriever, although they are a distinct breed from the Labrador.

There are many mixed dogs, but a large number of them are Labrador mixed breeds. Labradors are loyal, affectionate, well rounded and active dogs. One of the most popular of these mixes is a Golden Labrador, a Golden Retriever/Labrador mix.

Some of the breeds produced by a cross between a Golden Retriever and another dog breed include a Goldendoodle and Miniature Goldendoodle (Poodle and Miniature Poodle), Golden Labrador (Labrador Retriever) and Golden Boxer (Boxer), to name a few.
