Podengo Portuguesos come in three sizes: The Grande (large), Medio (medium), and Pequeno (small). There are two possible origins of all Podengo Portugueso.
The Podengo Portugueso comes in variety of sizes. These are the Grande or large, Medio or medium and Pequeno or small. This breed came from Portugal and it is an ancient sight and scent hound.
However, the most common is the Medio Podengo Portugueso which is a sighthound, moderately sized with flat skull and well-proportioned head. The nose can be black at times but the most common color is brown.
