This breed is not a purebred dog, but a hybrid or designer breed that is the result of crossing a Saint Bernard with a Poodle. The Saint Berdoodle is fairly new and unknown, therefore no standards have been set.

These Saint Berdoodles are hybrids of Bernese Mountain Dog and Toy Poodle dog breeds.
They can also be /Standard Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog/Miniature Poodle combos.
There are no Saint Berdoodles on Dogster yet.

Saint Berdoodles should be in an environment with a master that is able to handle their large size. It is usually a good idea to provide this dog with early training, especially with a leash to minimize problems.

Description: A Saint Berdoodle is a Poodle hybrid that is a cross-breed of a Poodle and a Saint Bernard and may demonstrate any combination of traits from those two breeds. Poodle hybrids have become very popular in the past few years.

Crosses with the Newfoundland brought forth long-haired variety of Saint Bernard.
Today, popular hybrids include the Saint Berdoodle (Saint Bernard and Poodle mix) and the Saint Berner (Saint Bernard and Bernese Mountain Dog mix).
