The Shiba-Inus with his outgoing personality, convenient size, and good nature has made him the most common pet in the Japan. Growing in popularity worldwide it has only been in recent years that he has been seen out of his native land.
Temperament: Shiba-Inus are independent, industrious and strong-willed. They are alert, curious, and intelligent. They can be strong willed, but can be trained. They have a fun-loving personality, and they are loyal to their owners.
The Imo-Inu is not a purebred dog, it is a hybrid that is the result of mixing an American Eskimo Dog with a Shiba-Inu. The Imo-Inu can be a bit stubborn, but is still considered a wonderful family dog.
