The Pomeranian is a toy breed, and is intended to be a house pet. The Pomeranian is rather sensitive to heat, so it does best in fairly cool climates.

The Toy German Spitz, comes in a wider variety of coat colors; Black, Brown, Orange, Wolf Gray, or White. The compact, triangular ears close together and high set.

The Klein German Spitz, or Toy German Spitz, is a happy, feisty, busy, curious, lively and devoted companion dog. He becomes very attached to his owner, and wants to keep close to you and be involved in all your activities.

Several breeds came from these dogs, including the Keeshond, Wolf Spitz, Giant, Standard and Small German Spitz, as well as the Pomeranian, also known as the Toy German Spitz.
