Warts in Dogs: An Overview
Fibropapillomas, also called papillomas, are what most people call the common wart. They are composed of skin and connective tissue cells and are extremely contagious between dogs by either direct or indirect contact.

 


Hovawarts are not recommended for apartment life. They are moderately active indoors and will do best with at least an average-sized yard. They prefer cool climates and can sleep outdoors.

Warts on Dogs
Warts on dogs is a minor issue and visiting a veterinarian is not required. However, in case the warts begin to grow bigger, medical advice is essential to diagnose the underlying skin disorder.

Hovawarts are not suited to live in an apartment or in a city. They will live best in the country where they will have enough space to run around and roam.

Tribal lore: At least five hair warts should be on the face -- two on each cheek and one or more on the chin. However, two or three on the chin is most desirable.
Pigment
Pigment of the nose is black to liver.

Keratoses: Keratoses (of the nose and foot) is the development of corns, warts, and calluses on the feet or nose. Often painful, corns can be inherited and are associated with thin pads or flat feet.

However, Hovawarts remain puppy-ish for quite a long time and retain a playful streak even when adult, so some patience is required in training.

The dog had to have white markings, black nails, black eye rim pigmentation, and sometimes even five warts on the head were required! If the dogs did not have these aspects they were killed.

Appearance: Head: Slender and pear-shaped, having no fewer than 5 warts. Eyes: Large and dark, appearing sad. Ears: Triangular in shape with rounded tips, falling against the head. Muzzle: Long and narrow.

The castle fell and its inhabitants including the Lord were slaughtered, however the Lord's infant son was saved by one of the castle's Hovawarts.
