I've gotten a few questions about animal symbolism surrounding dream lizards, and what it means when we dream of lizards so I was prompted to write a few thoughts about this unique messenger.

To dream of ~s, foretells attacks upon you by enemies.
If you kill a ~, you will regain your lost reputation or fortune; but if it should escape, you will meet worries and crosses in love and business.

Dream Interpretation/green ~s
I was in a room, there was two or three green ~s running around the room going from one hiding place to another. They were very fast. At times they would roll up like a ball and roll across the room.

~s in dreams (like frogs, turtles, and fish) are highly associated with babies, and are common in the dreams of pregnant women or in women who are contemplating children in their lives.

Association: A positive omen, a messenger; regenerative power. In general: ~ is often envious of people, of whom one must be on guard.

~-symbolic of a familiar spirit. A ~ may manifest in a dream as a creature with a human face and a nasty disposition that lives in your home ...

Reptiles and snakes in a dream relate to instincts and sensations that are somewhat unconscious and self regulating. As one of the oldest and most durable creatures, dreaming of ~s, salamanders or iguanas can portray the power of your survival instincts, both good and bad.
