Physical Exam
Dreams of physical examination often occur at times when we feel our lives may not be as well-ordered as they could or should be. Close scrutiny often reveals trouble where we thought everything was fine.
Whatever the cause, a sunken ship or a wrecked ship is a physical example of the event: this explains why the two concepts are often overlapping in English.
