Duck In the opening runes of the ancient Finnish epic, the Kalevala, the earth is represented as coming into being by means of a duck or teal; in other Finnish legends it is an eagle.

It had white shag carpets, teal green/blue accents with dark wood (teak?) furniture and accents. There was a sunken living room with a fire place and the kitchen just off the living room. The whole house was "open floor plan".
