Angostura Bitters - A brand of bitter aromatic tonic used to flavour aperitifs and longer drinks. It was invented around 1825, in Venezuela, by a French Doctor to fight illnesses among

Lemon twist. Muddle sugar and bitters in an old-fashioned glass and fill with crushed ice. Add 1 1/2 oz. Sauza Tequila. Garnish with lemon twist.

Angostura Bitters is made from a secret blend of rare tropical herbs and spices. It is said to contain over forty ingredients, and was developed in 1824 by Surgeon General Dr. J.

2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 tsp powdered sugar
4 oz ginger ale
Pour the whisky, Angostura bitters, lemon juice and sugar into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Fill with ginger ale, and serve.

SAN FRANCISCO COCKTAIL MARTINI
3/4 oz. DeKuyper Sloe Gin, 3/4 oz. Dry Vermouth, 3/4 oz. Sweet Vermouth, 1 dash Angostura Bitters, 1 dash orange bitters, maraschino cherry. Shake with ice. Strain into chilled martini glass. Drop in maraschino cherry.

Ingredients
2 1/2 oz Brandy
1 tbsp(s) Sweet Vermouth
4 drop(s) Angostura Bitters
2-3 piece(s) Maraschino Cherries ...

Dissolve 1 tsp honey in 1/2 oz warm water, add:
1 1/2 oz Brandy
3/4 oz Cherry Brandy
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Add ice & stir.

¾ fl oz Creme de menthe.
¾ fl oz Irish whiskey.
¾ fl oz Green chartreuse.
1 dash Angostura bitters.
