I'm having a bit of a debate with my local bar. Twice I've ordered a Dirty Gibson (from two different bartenders) and both bartenders used the olive juice for the "dirty".

Gibson is good but I preferred it to be served, first put the gin in the chilled cocktail glass followed by the dry vermouth. Dry Vermouth should be shake and strain with ice in a cocktail shaker then pour it in the cocktail glass.
