Add an equal amount of grain alcohol and shake gently. The alcohol will bring the pectin together in a gel. If a large amount of pectin is present it will appear in a single mass or clot when poured from the glass.
Made from pure grain alcohol and rice liquor and aged for a year in used whiskey barrels. It has a strong flavour (for soju), and a mild sweet/sour sake-like aroma. It's a little sweet, and definitely nice.
It's relatively easy to distill pure grain alcohol- a relatively tasteless souless product and cut it with whatever water is handy. The end result is tasteless, bland, and uninteresting.

2-3 oz Everclear (grain Alcohol)

Follow directions to make jello and then add in the everclear. You can then put the mixture into a large bowl or put it into dixie cups for individual jello shooters.
In an aging container, combine apricot halves, almond extract, grain alcohol with 1/2 cup water, and brandy. Stir in cooled sugar syrup mixture. Cap and let age for 2 days. Remove apricot halves. (Save apricot halves, can be used for cooking).
Unknown unsung college fratboys probably have that distinction, with their experiments in using a gallon of Vodka (or Everclear: 190-proof grain alcohol) and adding jello box after jello box until it sets.
