Try adding a package of unflavored gelatin to any jello shot recipe. Pour the mixture in a cake pan, refrigerate, and when set, you can cut them into cubes and serve WITHOUT the paper cups or shot glasses.

A favorite shot of mine is the jello shot mostly because it hardly tastes like alcohol, but it gets the job done.
You suggested serving jello shots in 3 oz dixie cups. If you look in a bar supply store or a large liquor store, you will find bags of 1oz plastic shot glasses (more like medicine dose cups) with fill-lines on the side.

Basicaly the same way you would make jello shot, but you must use the lime jello. With the tequila and lime mix it smells and tastes just like a margarita.

Taste: Thick rich taste that is felt as much as tasted. Deep jammy currants roll over and coat the tongue in a wave of black currants. Like drinking a jam preserve. Hmm, there is a thought: jello shots anyone?
