Lillet - A light, medium dry French aperitif (red or white) made with herbs, spices and fruits fortified with French Brandy, and a Bordeaux wine base.

 


2/6 Lillet (1 oz, 3 cl, 1/4 gills)
1/6 cherry whisky (Bols) (1/2 oz, 1.5 cl, 1/8 gills)

Instructions
Shake with cracke ice; strain into chilled cocktail glass.

Stir Lillet and grenadine into a collins glass and add ice cubes. Fill with sparkling water, stir gently and garnish with a twist of orange.

Drink Recipe Instruction
In a mixing glass half-filled with crushed ice, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Mixing instructions:
Mix with cracked ice in a shaker or blender and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Pour the gin, Lillet, orange bitters and creme de noyaux into a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes. Stir well, and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel, and serve.

JAMES BOND MARTINI
3 parts Gordon's Gin, 1 part vodka, 1/2 part Lillet. Shake with ice until very cold. Pour into chilled martini glass. Add large thin slice of lemon peel.

1 tsp. Orange Juice
Combine with ice. Shake well. Strain and add ice. Lillet can be used in place of the Cointreau, with 2 teaspoons each of Calvados and Apricot brandy instead of the juices.
