add the ice GRADUALLY through the little hole through the top. 1-2 cubes at a time. Use small cubes. Do not use the big glacier-like pieces or it won't come out right. Once the ice is all in, let it run for another minute or so.
Finish is somewhat short and a little hot compared to some of the older boutique style bourbons out lately. A bit spare or spartan compared to those.
Words to describe this concoction is a little hard to come up with because there was so many different tastes to pinpoint just which one was the dominant one.

Serve a bagel breakfast - Be sure to include a variety of delicious condiments as well as a choice of bagels.
Clear. The nose is sweet, herbal, and pepperminty with little hint of the high (100) proof. Silky texture. Intense peppermint flavor. Not too sweet. Extended minty finish. 'Kindred Spirits' gives it a **** (highly recommended) rating.
