(It needs all the help it can get!) If you wish, you can mix this absinthe half-n-half with Ouzo and obtain a drink that tastes halfway descent, but you'll lose some of the potency of the drink.
Mix brandy and lemon juice with ice in a shaker or blender. Pour into a chilled highball glass. Fill with ginger ale, stir gently, and garnish with lemon slice. Top with ouzo.
