Silver Rum - A type of rum named silver because of its colour - as opposed to Gold Rum.
Simple Syrup - A mixture of sugar and boiling water (see Simple Syrup in the Drink Recipes).
1 oz. Bacardi Silver Rum
3 oz. Champagne
1 tsp. Sugar
Dash bitters
In a tall glass mix Rum, sugar and bitters. Fill with Champagne.
An interesting idea, but the "classic" daquiri is made with silver rum, fresh lime, and superfine sugar (or simple syrup). That's it. Made with Vodka, it is called a "Gimlet".
1 oz Hennessy® cognac
2 oz Bacardi® silver rum
4 - 6 oz Coca-Cola®
Pour the Hennessy cognac into a highball glass half-filled with ice cubes. Add the Bacardi Silver rum, top with the Coca-cola, stir briefly and serve.
Final Thoughts: This rum would be a great addition to a rum collection.Much more complexity and different flavor notes than your average silver rum. A complex and idiosyncratic rum. Much better than a lot of rum in its price range.

1/2 oz. DeKuyper® Tropical Papaya, 1/2 oz. DeKuyper® Tropical Mango, 1/2 oz. DeKuyper® Tropical Pineapple Coconut, 1 oz.. Silver Rum.
