STRAIGHT UP:
Fill a mixing glass with cracked ice. Add Scotch and sweet vermouth. Stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.
ON THE ROCKS:
Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes.

Fill a shaker half full with ice cubes. Pour all ingredients into shaker and shake well. Fill a Tumbler almost full of crushed ice, and strain drink into Tumbler.
