Odor Threshold: The minimum odor of a water or air sample that can just be detected after successive dilutions with odorless water. Also called threshold odor.

In principle, the lowest concentration of an odorant in the air that can be detected by a human being.

Odor Threshold: Concentration of odorous air at which half of the judges in a panel detect the odor.
Odorimetry: Measurement of olfactory sensations.
Opacity: The amount of light obscured by particulate matter in the air.

Odor threshold - The lowest concentration of a chemical that can be smelled. Different chemicals have different odor thresholds. Also, some people can smell a chemical at lower concentrations than others can.
