Ozone Layer
A very diluted atmospheric concentration of ozone found at an altitude of 10 to 50 kilometers above the Earth's surface, which acts as a protective layer from the sun's radioactive rays.

The highest levels of ozone in the atmosphere are in the stratosphere, in a region also known as the ozone layer.

Ozone Layer - The protective layer in the atmosphere, about 12-15 miles above sea level, that absorbs some of the sun's ultraviolet rays, thereby reducing the amount of potentially harmful radiation that reaches the earth's surface.

Ozone layer is a thin layer of stratoshere - between about 15 kilometres out and 50 kilometres out from the earth. The ozone layer was formed by oxygen from plants reacting with ultraviolet light of the sun.
