Phytotoxic: Harmful to plants.
Phytotreatment: The cultivation of specialized plants that absorb specific contaminants from the soil through their roots or foliage.

 


phytotoxicity A toxic effect produced by or on a plant.
pico A prefix used in the metric system and other scientific systems of measurement which means 10-12 or 0.000000000001.

Phytotoxic: Something that harms plants.
PICs: Products of incomplete combustion. All particles and gases that are emitted from an object at the time it is burning.
PIU: Perimeter induction unit.

Phytotoxic A substance that causes harm or death to a plant specie is considered phytotoxic.

One of the most phytotoxic and wide spread air pollutants is ozone (O3). Ozone is formed by a series of reactions involving oxygen, hydrocarbons, nitrous oxides and sunlight.
