Water Cycle
Involves the circulation, recycling and conservation of the earth's water which is crucial to sustaining all forms of life in the planet. The total amount of water in the earth does not change.

Water cycle: Natural pathway water follows as it changes between liquid, solid, and gaseous states; biogeochemical cycle that moves and recycles water in various forms through the ecosphere. Also called the hydrologic cycle.

Water Cycle
The continuous process of surface water (puddles, lakes, oceans) evaporating from the sun?s heat to become water vapor (gas) in the atmosphere. Water condenses into clouds and then falls back to earth as rain or snow (precipitation).

Water Cycle: The movement of water as it evaporates from rivers, lakes or oceans, returns to the earth as precipitation, flows into rivers and evaporates again.

Water cycle: See hydrologic cycle.
Water quality: The chemical, physical, and biological characteristics of water with respect to its suitability for a particular use.

Water Cycle- The process by which water is transpired and evaporated from the land and water, condensed in the clouds, and precipitated out onto the earth once again to replenish the water in the bodies of water on the earth.

Water cycle - please see the definition for hydrologic cycle
Water availability - The total amount of water available from a water supply or source.

water cycle : The process, also known as the hydrologic cycle, in which water travels in a sequence from the air through condensation to the earth as precipitation and back to the atmosphere by evaporation.

The Water Cycle and Global Warming
Life on Earth is dependent on water and variations in its availability.

The Water Cycle and Global Warming
Global Warming
Mean temperature anomalies during the period 1995 to 2004 with respect to the average temperatures from 1940 to 1980 ...

Often called the water cycle, it is the vertical and horizontal transport of water in all its states between the earth, the atmosphere, and the seas.

Hydrologic Cycle (Water Cycle): Water in its various manifestations as vapor evaporated from oceans, lakes, streams, and plants; rain and snow; snowpack or glacier; groundwater or surface runoff; and finally as streams and rivers returning to the sea.

Hydrologic Cycle (Water Cycle):  The cycle of water movement from the atmosphere to the earth and back to the atmosphere through condensation, precipitation, evaporation, and transpiration.

hydrologic cycle The natural process by which water cycles from the atmosphere to the earth (via precipitation), and back to the atmosphere again (via evaporation and other processes).

hydrology the branch of science that studies the distribution of the earth's waters, above and below ground, including the water cycle
