Dactylomancy
This is a term covering the various forms of divination using rings. One form resembles the phenomenon of table-tapping found in Spiritualism. A round table is inscribed with the letters of the alphabet, and a ring is suspended above it.

DEMONOMANCY is divination with the aid of demons.
Also called Dactylomancy, it is derived from the dakterlios ('finger ring') and manteia (' '), and it is applied to a number of methods of divining the future with the aid of rings.
