Group mind, the term, is frequently used to denote the collective conscious of a specific group of people such as a tribe, village, or town, and which is the accumulation of their essential beliefs.
Group mind
A section of the Switchboard consisting of two or more metapatterns linked into an identity circuit. Term is used for those formed telepathically in rituals but can also be used to refer to mobs or other cases of crowd hysteria.
The Insect Group Mind
The social insect mind pertains to a group-mind that arises on the mundane physical plane spontaneously from the chaotic interaction of its components (the individual ants etc), as shown through computer simulation.
This term usually refers to the autonomous psychic residue of a group mind. Such an egregore bespeaks a yet to be heard wisdom. It shines a yet to be seen illumination dormant in stone.
