Haunting ghosts

Haunting Ghosts : are considered by psychical researchers to be different in kind to apparitions.

I knew them to be no more than the thought creations of my earthly life, yet seen in this lifelike palpable form they were like haunting ghosts of my past, rising up in accusing array against me.
