Heavenly Man, The
According to the Zohar, the Heavenly Man constituted the first Sephiroth, or divine emanations. Before creation God was without form, above and beyond all attributes.
This ideal was tried under the Aryan dispensation, when the chosen people were yet in the Wilderness, so called, but without success; they would not have the heavenly manna.

Atzilut, the "World of Emanation" or "Nearness (to the Godhead)", also called the Image and the Heavenly man (Adam Kadmon), is the Divine Reality; the Sefirot or attributes of the Godhead.
