Hod / Mercury alternatively - Air of Malkhut
One of the sefirot or magical archetypes. This is quite distinct from the traditional Judaic Kabbalistic conception of Hod.

Hod
The android Data is the essence of unemotional intellect. Although human-created, he is officially recognised as an autonomous life form with full legal privileges. Data yearns for human experience, laughter, feeling, and irrationality.
In Hod we not only create, but also clean any existing mental filter, so that the energy rising back towards its source may be properly identified and experienced for what it is, prior to its being harmonized into a single ray of light by Netzach.
Say "Hod" (8) and visualize an orange sphere of light surrounding your right hip. This is the lower seat of reason in which the mind formulates a rational conception of the physical.

recreates a Daoist Tree of Wisdom by matching the Five Element (wuxing) correspondences with the 10 Sephera spheres: wu-qi/kether, yang/chokamah and yin/binah (upper triad); fire/geburah, wood/chesed and sun/tiphereth (second triad); and metal/hod, ...
The 3x7x12 pattern, dictated by the Sephir Yetzirah, is destroyed, because now the heart triangle (Tifareth, Chesed and Geburah) and the pelvic triangle (Yesod, Netzach and Hod) point downward.
(4) Microprosophus, or the Lesser Face, is composed of the six Sephiroth--Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netsah, Hod, and Jesod.
The opposing sephirot is Hod (female) which contains the good qualities of imagination, inspiration, insight and intutition which the Kabbalists admire; but Hod also had the powers of reason and logic which are distrusted by the Kabbalist.
