Individuality
This is a belief in the persona or ego of a person, which is held by some occultists and mystics.

 


Individuality. One of the names given in Theosophy and Occultism to the human Higher Ego. We make a distinction between the immortal and divine and the mortal human Ego which perishes.

INDIVIDUALITY
While man must be, and is, a Divine Image or a Perfect Idea, yet he suffers and is sick.

When this mergence takes place, the man does not suffer loss of individuality; rather he enjoys an almost infinite extension of individuality.

According to Qabalistic and Alchemical theory, matter is created by the increasing density of human consciousness during the so-called "fall" so that we can obtain experiences of individuality.
