Jacob Frank's real name was Yakov ben Judah Leib Frankovich (1726-91). He was born in Podolia (then Poland, now a region of Ukraine), the son of a rabbi.

The German mystic and theosophist, Jacob Boehme (or Jakob Böhme), was born in Altseidenburg in 1575.
Boehme (Jacob). A mystic and great philosopher, one of the most prominent Theosophists of the mediaeval ages. He was born about 1575 at Old Diedenberg, some two miles from Gorlitz (Silesia), and died in 1624, being nearly fifty years old.

Basically this is good book,covers a wide variety of subjects and gives information, but I wish it had been longer.
