Libanomancy
A system of divination by employing incense and prayers. The incense is thrown on a fire, and the smoke carries the prayers to heaven. Supposedly if the incense is consumed the prayers will be answered.
LIBANOMANCY is the study of incense and its smoke.
LITHOMANCY is divination using precious stones of various colors.
MARGARITOMANCY is the procedure of using bouncing pearls.
Alternatively known as Libanomancy.
Derived from the Greek kapnos ('smoke') and manteia ('divination'), this is a method of divination by interpreting the movement of smoke rising from a fire, principally sacrificial fires.
