Yesod
The man in charge of the machinery of the universe is Chief Engineer Geordi LaForge. He is blind (like the demiurge Ialdebaoth/Samael in gnostic myth) and so his vision is augmented using an implant.
Malkuth being the base of the sephiroth or Tree is the Earth. This is appropriate because within Earth are found all things of God. It is therefore the kingdom of God because every principle found with each of the sephirots is found within Earth.
Malkuth is shown divided into four sections of colour on the Tree diagram: citrine, russet, olive and black in the colours of the Queen Scale.

(I was told that the deepest point in matter reached by the descending beam was Malkuth of the Tree.) Matter tried to eject these shells, since they were a disturbance of its normal motion.
Malkuth, łthe World,˛ is cast down into a position that didnąt even exist in the old system; it now acts like an anchor on the soul instead of like a throne or a wonderful garden from which to draw nourishment.
In Qabbalistic terminology, this is Tiphareth as the product of Chokmah and Binah; but in its active downward flow towards Malkuth. The Vav of YHVH in its aspect of seeking downward expression through the Heh-final.
Regarding the grail legends, however, and particularly the Arthurian Tarot; the suits of spear, grail, stone and sword are indeed of Malkuth (earth), which is Qabalistically the Sphere of the Elements. It is also why there are ten cards per suit.
The upper stroke of this letter is the Sephira Yesod -- which is spelled with Yod as its first letter in Hebrew -- and the body of this letter Mem is the Sephira Malkuth -- the Hebrew word "Malkuth" starts with the letter "Mem".
