Mediums : are persons who claim they can communicate with and even rely messages from deceased persons. These messages are thought to come from the beyond the grave and are normally intended for the living relatives of the deceased.
Mediums have been known by various names, such as oracle, soothsayer, wizard, cunning woman, wise woman, witch, medicine man, sorcerer, shaman, fortune-teller, witch doctor, mystic, priest, prophet, and channeler.
The art or process of "seeing" is known as "scrying," whereby images are seen in crystals, or other mediums such as water, and are interpreted as meaningful information.
