Microcosm. The "little" Universe meaning man, made in the image of his creator, the Macrocosm, or "great" Universe, and containing all that the latter contains. These terms are used in Occultism and Theosophy.

Microcosm The little universe, or a human manifesting through its body, the physical body.
Mind The mental faculty that attracts, repels, coordinates and produces cohesion. (see Manas) ...

Microcosm.--The individual world or universe of man.
Mind.--Mind is both conscious and subconscious. Conscious Mind is Spirit, either in God or man. Unconscious Mind is the law of conscious Mind acting and is, therefore, subconscious or subjective.

The microcosm is our own small cosmos. It is the world inside us. Our thoughts, dreams, emotions, and desires are what make up the present moment of this internal universe.
