Naamah A Christian name given for a demon, derived from a title of Adonis, Naaman, meaning "Darling." As the "darling" of the Goddess Aphrodite, he also gave his name to the anemone, supposedly the "flower" of his blood. A.G.H. Source: 56.
The story of Lamech, and especially his children, who are named Jabell, Tuball, Tuball Cain, and Naamah, are of great importance to the history of Freemasonry.
He was thought to be the son of Naamah and the husband of Lilith, the queen of the demons, but in The Devil's Own Dear Son, by James Branch Cabell, he is instead said to be the son of Lilith, fathered by Sammael.
