Oneiromancy

ONOMANCY is the study of the meaning of names.
ONOMANTICS is the application of ONOMANCY applied to personal names, particularly in the sense of occult interpretation.
Also known as Oneiromancy, it is a method of divination and prophecy by means of dreams. Nightmares also fall into this category, although occult tradition maintains that bad dreams are the work of demons.
