Ornithomancy is the Greek term for the practice of augury, the method of divination by the flight of songbirds, which became a part on the Roman national religion and a distinct priesthood was developed for its practice.
Also known as Oionoscopy and Ornithomancy, it is a method of divination from the flight and behavior of birds. It was very popular in ancient Greece, when it was used for mantike.
