Varna

Esoteric VanirVav

Varna (Sanskrit, perhaps from vr, "veil," hence "color") is the term for the four social orders, or categories, of Hindu society: Brahmans, Ksatriyas, Vaisyas, and Sudras.

Varnamala (The Garland of Letters)
The world has never altogether been without the Wisdom, nor its Teachers. The degree and manner in which it has been imparted have, however, necessarily varied according to the capacities of men to receive it.

Varna
In Tantra, the principle that sound is eternal and that every letter of the alphabet is a deity.
Vodun or Voudoun ...

There are four varnas - the Brahmans (priests and intellectuals), the Kshatriyas (warriors and rulers); the Vaishyas (artisans), and the Shudras, or workers (originally servants).

What is the good of talking about Varnashrama Dharma, if you disregard the Ashramas ? The Ashrama of Brahmacharya is the protection of your sons.

He interpreted the classic Hindu codex (The Laws of Manu) as a repression of the lower classes (varna) by self-glorifying Brahmans.
