Vav. He shall visualize the planets at their proper locations along the rim of the wheel, in their correct colors. Again he shall practice until the image can be held indefinitely without effort.
Since no transliteration is given, it is impossible to determine with any certainty which letters are intended, given the similarities among the Hebrew letters heh (H), chet (CH), and tav (T or TH), and, if badly written, between vav (V) and yud (Y).
When Israel fell into a state that is termed impenitence it is said in Zoharic symbolism that VAV and HE final were separated. The name was thus dismembered, and this is the first sense of loss which is registered concerning it.
Remembering that Hebrew is read from right to left, this name, yod-heh-vav-heh, is most properly transliterated as YHVH, but sometimes as YHWH (Yahweh) or JHVH (Jehovah).
The Vav of YHVH in its aspect of seeking downward expression through the Heh-final. This is the inclusion of the other planetary influences into our earthly experience by the cycles of Sun and Moon.
