Also Warluck. A term meaning wizard, sorcerer, or magician and used in medieval times to describe male witches but rarely used by male witches themselves today, many of whom find the term revoltingly offensive.

Warlock: Often used to mean a male Witch, but this is incorrect. The word actually comes from the Old English, and means "oath breaker".
