COMPLIMENTARY COLORS
Hues directly opposite one another on the color wheel and therefore assumed to be as different from one another as possible.
Complimentary colors
Secondary colors opposite primary colors and vice versa on the color wheel. Red is the compliment of green, orange the compliment of blue, purple the compliment of yellow.
Complementary Colors
Complementary colors are those which appear opposite to one another on a color wheel. The complimentary colors are red and green, blue and orange, and yellow and purple.
