What is Conceptual Art
This term came into use in the late 1960s to describe a wide range of types of art that no longer took the form of a conventional art object.

In conceptual art the idea or concept is the most important aspect of the work. When an artist uses a conceptual form of art, it means that all of the planning and decisions are made beforehand and the execution is a perfunctory affair.
Conceptual art is intended to convey a particular idea or concept to an audience. According to the rules of this movement, it is the concept which takes importance over the aesthetics and materials of an artwork.
In its ultimate form, Conceptual Art has no physical form, but exists only as words (written or verbal) that convey the concept, or idea. The Conceptual Art movement emerged in the late 1960s and early 70s.
